IN the expansion pack for Diablo 3 all of the craftsmen can be promoted to level 12. To do that, you need to own the item called 'death breath', which is rarely dropped by regular opponents and chests, and often after defeating elite opponents.
Forgotten Soul is a Legendary crafting material in Diablo III, obtained by using the Blacksmith to salvage non-crafted legendary weapons and armor, or set items. A Rift Guardian may also give up one or two of these upon defeat for players in the level range of 61-70 (guaranteed to drop at least one on Torment VII or higher), and Odious Collectors may drop a few as well. Diablo 3: How to Create the Best Necromancer Build Diablo 3's top players detail the most powerful Necromancer build that is currently available. Here are all of the skills and equipment you need.
After you promote them, new recipes unlock and you will be able to each them new ones, for levels 61+.
The most important innovation is the fact that, in order to craft a legendary you only need the recipe and the materials that you receive by recycling the other items. Additionally, you need materials that can be obtained at certain locations, from certain monsters or from certain elements of the surroundings that you can interact with, e.g. shelves.
To craft this item, you need the born's key, which you obtain in Act I
The way to obtain these item is to attack unique elite opponents, which do not have the names of abilities, under their health bars and whose names are in violet. Of course, not each unique opponent drops each material. See below to find the list
Percentage chance of a drop, as of April 2014.:
Normal: 5 %
High: 6 %
Expert: 7,2 %
Master: 8,6 %
Torment I: 10,4 %

Torment II: 12,4 % A new dawn wow.
Torment III: 14,9 %
Torment IV: 17,9 %
Torment V: 21,5 %
Torment VI: 25,8 %
After you found the right type of material, this is not yet it. You then need a white item. The best location to farm these are the Stone fort of Act III, due to the fact that there are many weapon stands there and this is what drops lots of white weapons. Sometimes, you are also going to need a high-quality gem, which has, so far, been used in slots of other items.

A good open world game wouldn’t be incomplete without a complex myriad of things that need other things to do things.
Yes. I know I didn’t make sense to most people who haven’t played a title like Diablo 3 and are therefore not useful to all the scavenging and hunting needed just to get what you need to craft something.
One such item you have to look for is the Diablo 3 Death’s Breath. This is a unique crafting material you gain by killing elite enemies once you are above level 61.Once you have the Death’s Breath, you can use it to facilitate transmutations in the Kanai’s Cube or use it for enchanting to come up with high-level gems that you can in turn use to augment ancient items.
You will need artisans who are above level 10 to use Death’s Breath.
Death’s Breath, like gold and most of the crafting material, marquise or higher gems and quest items are account bound. You cannot trade them with other players.
This means that you have to earn all your D3 Death’s Breath the hard way.

Diablo 3 Death’s Breath Farming
- The first step to collecting or ‘Farming’ Death’s Breath is by ensuring that you have attained the necessary game level (61 and above) This isn’t necessary if you are running the latest game patch as this limitation was removed
- You will have to kill yellow elite and above enemies like bosses and treasure goblins to earn the breath (doesn’t apply to Great Rift Guardians)
- Valid sources are:
- Opening golden chests
- Killing a yellow or blue Elite monster
- Killing a Treasure Goblin
- You will get higher chances of getting the breath faster if you play on higher difficulty levels
- If you have patch 2.4 or above, the Death’s Breath has an easy to spot color when it drops from the enemy you just beat. Teal smoke also rises from its location hence ensuring that you can secure your reward.
- Wear Nemesis bracers as this will attract more elite enemies hence saving time by ensuring that you don’t run around looking for enemies in vain
